One thing about having you heart rejected is that you get to keep it.
It is yours to travel, love, learn, and adventure with.
Someone once told me to be careful who I give a piece of my heart to because sometimes I can’t get it back.
It’s times when I get to sit alone in my apartment, with the scent of coffee, the smell of rice cooking, that I finally feel whole again.
I can without a doubt say I tried and actually gave parts of myself that not everyone gets to experience.
