What a guy must have in order to be even considered worth my time is love and respect for himself. A guy who cares, loves, and respects himself indicates that he will do the same for those around him, and more so for me. When I list these traits I don’t mean a self centered, arrogant man, but one who is considerate of himself and others. A guy who isn’t content with himself won’t be content with me.
I need a guy who can care for me. One with a sense of humor and strong family values. I like guys that enjoy teaching me new things. A guy that will surprise me with adventures.
I don’t need to spend every waking moment with him because he should be honest and trustworthy.
And of course, a guy who will be proud that I’m his.
I get asked this quite often, in various forms… And there are several reasons.
1.) I am choosing to be single. There are so many places and people I have yet to encounter. I want to fall in love over and over with places and happenings, before I fall in love with just one person.
2.) Few have succeeded in genuinely capturing my attention. I only pursue some.
3.) Being humble gets you places. Arrogance gets people no where. If I come off as so, it’s probably my sarcasm you are misunderstanding. How I value and hold myself is how others view me.
